Francis Wolff, "Blue Note"

Blue Note Records, the legendary label founded in 1939 by Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff, created this photo collection featuring over 100 jazz musicians who built its reputation. It includes photos of their performances, sessions, and off-stage moments. The cool black-and-white photographs by Francis Wolff, who was both a label producer and a photographer, are familiar to any jazz fan from record jackets and CD booklets. This is a保存版 (treasured edition) of Blue Note Records and jazz history, featuring intimate portraits of jazz masters such as Louis Armstrong, Art Blakey, Ornette Coleman, Chick Corea, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Dexter Gordon, Herbie Hancock, and Joe Henderson. This collection was compiled by the French art photo specialist Yellow Korner and published by Flammarion in France in 2014. The text is in English and French.

Condition: The pages show some slight tanning, but it is in excellent condition for a used book.
