16-day journal, 29-day journal

A relay diary from 2020 by four people living in Kyoto and working in "book-related" fields. The participants were Ryu Seino from "ba hütte." in Shirakawa Kitayama, Sakyo Ward, Yu Omodaka from the publishing company "Tookosha," Takahiko Torii from the bookstore "Kaifusha Taiken Book Center," and Yoha-sha's Wakigami, who was working at "Keibunsha Ichijoji Branch" at the time in 2020. This collection compiles their "today"s, written under a rotating system with a limit of 300 characters per day, spanning 16 days in the spring and 29 days in the summer of 2020. It captures their daily lives as they worked diligently, read books, walked the city, ate meals, spent time with family, thought about things, and welcomed tomorrow. As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic gradually spread, they shared their "normal" and "everyday" routines and musings with fellow residents of the same city. This book records those days and includes short essays expressing the emotions that arose during that time. The cover design, featuring letterpress printing, is by the graphic design studio "Ritendo." Despite being a small booklet, it shows a commitment to bookbinding, such as using two different types of paper.
