Sumoguri Shun "Self-Portrait and Green Ray, Our Music" (signed copy)

The second poetry collection by poet Sumoguri Shun, who also performs as a musician, actor, and poetry reader.
Titled after films by Eric Rohmer and Jean-Luc Godard, this collection of poems attempts to intertwine poetry history and film history with the author's personal history. Keiji Matsumoto's insert bookmark "Shiori no Shiori" ("Bookmark's Bookmark") discusses its savagery and purity. The cover photo, "Untitled" by Erika Yoshino, evokes a cinematic sense of time and space. And the design by Yuri Suyama, while contrasting with the previous work "Pasta wo Maita Kutsu," is equally beautiful.
