Akitsu Design "Schedule 2026"

This "schedule" is designed by graphic designer Akitsu Sekkei (Asada Nou) with the concept of "seeking a new sense of time."

By visualizing the "time and altitude" of the sun and moon as they change over time, you can see the annual schedule of the moon and sun, which changes like a wave, including changes in the sun's altitude due to the seasons and the progression of full and new moons.

It uses "Montesion" paper, developed at the Nippon Paper Industries Ishinomaki Mill as a product to support the reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Despite its substantial thickness, it has a unique soft texture with a noticeable unevenness to the touch. This paper is also prone to "paper yellowing," so depending on where it's displayed, you can enjoy the paper quietly aging throughout the year due to sunlight.

Experience 2026 by living with a different sense of time (year, month, week, day, hour, minute, second...) than you currently have, not chasing time but freely strolling through it. Your perspective on the moon and sun will naturally change, and you'll feel yourself as a living being. *Delivered rolled in a paper tube.
